Social Media Breakfast Cincinnati #1 Tuesday, April 29

The first Social Media Breakfast of Cincinnati is on Tuesday, April 29 at the

Holiday Inn Riverfront
Street: 600 W THIRD STREET
Time: 7:30am - 9:00am (casual so drop by anytime in this window)

City: Covington, KY
Map: http://maps.google.com/maps…
Contact Info: 612-325-8126 (Maruggi) or 513-240-0547 (Bergman)

Update: Because of the quick comments back, it makes sense to shoot me an email amaruggi@providentpartners.net just in case we need to set up more tables than I’ve reserved in the hotel restaurant. So thanks Michelle and MandyJ for those comments.

Chris Bergman of Cincinnati and Albert Maruggi (visiting Cincinnati that week), senior fellow with the Society for New Communications Research, kicked around the idea for holding the breakfast after tweeting about it with Daniel Johnson Jr, Cliff Ravenscraft, Krista Neher, and others. There is a good group of corporate marketers, agency and PR practitioners, and technologists in the Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati region and this a chance to create an in-person experience.

A loose outline for the group is:

highlights from the recent NewComm Forum and the Media Relations Summit,

discussion of personal networks and the value they create (aka recent issue of selling twitter profile by Andrew Baron )

Cincinnati area news, events, and people

Jason, I’m sure Albert and Co. would be thrilled if you could make it. I bet none of them has a job title as cool as yours :)

What is the cost? I might come, but it depends on my work schedule for this week, among other things.

#10 AlbertMaruggi on 04.27.08 at 5:15 pm

The question of cost is everyone is on the own for what they eat, Provident Partners, will keep the coffee coming. Hope you can make it. Right now we have a table for 10 in the restaurant. I will watch the comments and email to see if we need more table space. I bet we will.

Considering rolling up from Louisville, too.

Albert, I’ve listened to The Marketing Edge for quite awhile and would like to meet the man behind the madness in person. ;)

Let’s take these last set of comments on the eve of the social media breakfast one by one shall we.

Cincinnati/Northern KY social media core ROCKS. Great response and chatter on twitter.

Amybeth, by all means everyone is welcome. You are the Research Goddess, I’ll just keep adding more tables in the restaurant.

Kevin, Love to see you, stop by even for a quick cup of coffee.

Great news Daniel and Debba, looking forward to seeing the guy who has one of the longest commutes in social media next to Chris Brogan, that is.

Roger that is very kind of you to say and remember madness is a state of mind. Jason Falls said he is planning on coming. He’s a new daddy so his schedule is not his own right now, but having be through that a bunch of times, have sleep will travel I always said.

Sleep tight Jason.

One more hat tip to local social media champion Chris Bergman http://twitter.com/chrisbergman who helped kick this off.
