Social media has still to be defined and we want to offer an ideal format to get together and discuss potential directions of this awesome new medium!
Welcome to the first meeting of the Calgary chapter of the Social Media Breakfast (#smbyyc) . This will be a place for social media professionals and beginners alike to discuss effective practices, past experiences and new techniques. It will allow us to nurture social media in the city of Calgary, enhance our existing social networks and learn from our peers. The SMB meetings are free (with the exception of special events and bringing in guest speakers) and they are monthly. We appreciate anyone and everyone’s opinions and encourage friendly discussion.
This first meeting’s purpose will be to introduce you to the SMB and launch our community with a friendly networking session. If you are new to social media please feel free to come and ask questions as we would be more than happy to share any information that we have.
