SMB Bellingham April ‘Breakfast’ with Tac Anderson

We’re having our ‘breakfast’ in the evening again – we’re just that laid back! If you live within a drivable distance to Bellingham, please come join us on Wednesday, April 14th from 6-8pm for Bellingham Social Media ‘Breakfast’ in the evening, hosted by Glow Nightclub and presented by the Bellingham Social Media group.

Our first two events have generated a TON of interest! A lot of folks have been eager to learn ‘what’s next’ for this group, and our speaker this month is sure to help us figure that out…

Get ready, ‘cuz we’re gonna rock: our guest presenter for April is Tac Anderson, Digital Consulting Director at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide. Tac is a master at demonstrating how social media can be used as a catalyst for economic development. In 2007, he started the TechBoise blog with one goal: to give a voice to the small but growing tech community. Between the blog and monthly events, TechBoise was able to bring the business people and the geeks together and things started to happen. Over the next 2 1/2 years Tac helped launch IgniteBoise, served as the Entrepreneur in residence at the local VC firm Highway 12 ventures, and helped start The Watercooler, Boise’s first business incubator, among many, many other things. TechBoise, the events, IgniteBoise and The WaterCooler are all still going strong even after Tac relocated to Seattle. Come learn how social media was a major part of bringing all these things together.
